While still in school at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began to get involved in ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.
YFC grew, and it became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church's headquarters are in Lagos. The Believer's LoveWorld is home to millions of associates and followers all over the world.
Through the 2002 environment for the miracles program, BLW rose to prominence as an Christian ministry on television in Africa. The program was canceled in the month of May 2004 after the then President of Nigeria - Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country's president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should cease airing miracles on television.

The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded to enhance the standard of living and the overall health of communities as well as countries by encouraging better emergency response services in case of incidents and emergency situations.
