Welcome, as you have found my first guide to Runescape. Me, Runescape leveling up guru will teach you the secrets of Runescape. There will be more upcoming guides on this game so watch out for them.

Basically, I am going to teach you the first thing about Runescape that most people don't seem to get. This is patients. A key to level up in Runescape is to have lots of patients and stick to what you want to level up in. For example, I you want to level up in woodcutting, you don't (fletch/fire making) your levels at the same time. This will only slow down the process reducing the time to level up.

Patients is the secret to leveling up your avatar in Runescape as Runescape is a long playing game to master. This means that the game can't be skilled on the first day that you start playing. A good way to level up without getting bored is to listen to music as you play. This will increase your time of interest and will induce you to play longer.

Also such skills which need another skill to get up (e.g. - fletching, smithing) you could hurry up the time of these skills buy storing the items in your bank, choose a bank which is close to the desired skill and get lots of them. Otherwise, if you're rich, you can buy them off other players who are willing to sell them and turn them into more valuable items.

This would be boring and there would be no knowledge of the game itself so the player wouldn't have a clue on what to do.
