This Minecraft Build Is A Big Dark Soulsinspired Adventure

A Minecraft build can be basically whatever you want it to be. Although it may seem like a red flag from someone, it is actually a good thing considering Minecraft is one the most important sandbox games ever created. Minecraft encourages people to do whatever they want, regardless of whether it's running a Dungeons & Dragons or creating a Destiny 2 raid.

That's probably why this fan has decided to build an entire Dark Souls map in Minecraft. DanTay19, however, is not creating a replica. They are simply using the series as an inspiration for their own build. You can take a look at the final area thanks to a post they made on Reddit, or you can check out the full trailer on their YouTube channel.

According to the video's description, they've been working on the map for over five years and it's all been built by them. The video is more impressive than the Reddit post. There are boss battles, plenty of variety in the biomes and some really fun enemy positioning, such as the ghast who serves as a tower in a castle area, or the magma thines running wild over an area that is blood-red.

The description of video also mentions that the video will use mechanics familiar with Souls players. This means that mods are likely to be made to keep the combat feel close to FromSoftware games. We're not sure how much crossover will there be with the Elden Ring inspired Minecraft, but we're excited about it nonetheless. It's not yet available, so we'll have all to wait.

In more official Minecraft news, we're nearing the release of Minecraft 1.19 now, which means you can mess around in the pre-release if you want to see how fearsome the Warden is becoming.
