The world's Minecraft players log hundreds of hours playing Minecraft each day, but they don't play in China. Today, Minecraft developer Mojang announced it's creating a whole new version of the game specifically for Chinese gamers. This development was made possible by NetEase which is a Chinese internet-based company. lalalalal NetEase operates games such as Hearthstone and World of Warcraft in China.

There is no release date and there is no information on what changes to the core game will be made for the Chinese market. What we do know is the Chinese version will only be available for mobile and PC platforms and not consoles when it finally arrives.

"We are thrilled to bring Minecraft to Chinese gamers, and we anticipate our huge online community to be awed by the game's renown," William Ding, the CEO and founder of NetEase, Inc. announced. We provide a solid platform to introduce Minecraft to China's vast userbase due to our deep knowledge of China and our capability to launch globally-respected mobile and online games.
