Minecraft Meets Omni Virtual Reality Rig PC Game Gets new Launcher

Minecraft might not be the most thrilling experience, but all that walking is the only thing the Omni virtual reality rig requires. Above: Two Omni developers take Minecraft multiplayer for an adventure. They show the high-voltage running, walking and jumping that gamers can expect in VR.



Omni Kickstarter still has 20 more days before it closes and is currently at $970,000 of the $150,000 target.



Minecraft now comes with a brand new launcher for PC, available for everyone without an Omni setup - and for those who do have one. The new launcher is required to play the game's most recent version, Minecraft 1.6 and any future updates. This new interface supports multiple usernames in one Mojang account, but this feature isn't yet available by Mojang its own website. Minecraft servers Minecraft servers



The new system will automatically update without the need to manually update. Single-player content will be available offline. The launcher will attempt to connect to Minecraft servers if players are offline.
